FRAME Ventures was founded by Alessandro Causarano, Sebastian Labud, and Tobias Thüner. As entrepreneurs, we’ve built companies ourselves and know what it takes to grow them. FRAME Ventures is our way of bringing together our experience, network, and capital to work with founders and businesses we believe in.

Alessandro Causarano

Founding Partner

Alessandro is an entrepreneur and investor with first-hand experience in building, scaling and successfully exiting businesses. As co-founder of O.C. Hairsystems, he helped build an integrated hair health platform with more than 200 employees, combining hair replacement, surgical solutions and a growing European footprint.

His expertise lies in scaling location-based businesses, digital growth and financing, with a strong network across banks and investors. At Frame Ventures, Alessandro works closely with founders from the seed stage onwards, helping them identify opportunities early, build the right financing structures and create a clear path towards sustainable, profitable growth.

Together with Tobias and Sebastian, he co-founded Frame Ventures to share their experience and network and to build sustainable businesses alongside ambitious founders.

Sebastian Labud

Founding Partner

Sebastian is a serial entrepreneur and investor with deep expertise in brand and community building, digital growth and scaling consumer and healthcare businesses. He built his first company at a very young age and sold it to Foot Locker. He went on to hold several executive board roles, including at Zwilling, where he led the company's global digital transformation. Today, he is CEO of Visus One, a next-generation eye clinic specializing in lens and laser technology. At Frame Ventures, Sebastian drives the strategic vision of the portfolio and serves as board member and sparring partner for selected portfolio companies.

Tobias Thüner

Founding Partner

Tobias is an entrepreneur and investor with deep expertise in finance, operations and real estate. He founded his first company together with Alessandro at a young age and sold it to the Eismann Group in 2018. He went on to build and scale a diversified hospitality group with four divisions spanning hotels, catering, event locations and staffing, employing around 250 people. His expertise lies in financial strategy, operational excellence, organizational development and real estate. Today, he is CFO of Visus One, a next-generation eye clinic specializing in lens and laser technology. At Frame Ventures, Tobias supports the portfolio with a strong focus on finance and the expansion and scaling of location-based businesses.
